Self Generated Companies Program

On March 8th, Londoners will have a new alternative to develop their business ideas.

One of the biggest challenges for immigrants is linked successfully to the workplace. Many times, even with extensive experience in their home countries, with advanced professional education and even knowledge of any of the official languages of Canada, the struggle for a stable job is sometimes overcome by despair and worry. However, the entrepreneurial spirit and outstanding creativity in many people who yearn to be independent and productive.

All those people who have ever dreamed of being their own boss or who have had a business idea that have not been able to do, for professionals who have devised a way to offer their services as independent, there are alternatives which may be used as the program recently created by LACDC. LACDC has designed a project called Self Generated Companies Program, which aims to guide and became in a reality the ideas of all entrepreneurs who aim to create their own business.

LACDC program helps their clients to carry out their ideas in the right way and share all aspects to the success of their business in Canada. For a year, participants will learn how to build their businesses and also have the advice of expert tutors and mentors who will guide them along the process.

The program is proposed to be developed in two phases: the first 6 month, where entrepreneurs present theoretical and practical modules, which contain the expertise of financial institutions and the knowledge of expert teachers in all the areas for the correct business plan development, crucial for the success. Then in altthe second phase, entrepreneurs begin their productive stage , always accompanied by LACDC expert team to reach the final goal of the program, which would be the marketing of products and services, for which alternatives are presented according to their economical capacity.

The program supports and guides its participants, who must meet academic goals and productivity to cope with success. Such alternative proposals are of great importance to employment generation and economic growth, which LACDC asks to the City of London, the employment agencies, schools and colleges and all those members of the community which are interested in starting this program, whose official launch will take place on March 8, 2011.
